Glaucoma is a cluster of eye diseases. In Glaucoma, the optic nerve of the eye gets damaged resulting in loss of vision. The damage is often caused by an abnormally high pressure in the eye. Many forms of Glaucoma have usually no sign of warnings with no sign of vision loss at early stage. It may get detected when its already in an advanced stage and the vision cannot be recovered.

Open-angle Glaucoma:
In this condition, the person can experience blind spots in the sides of the eyes or tunnel vision in some advanced cases. This is the most common form of Glaucoma, here the drainage angle formed by the cornea and iris remains open, but the trabecular meshwork is partially blocked.
Acute-angle Glaucoma:
In Acute Angle Glaucoma, the person can experience severe case of headache, eye pain, Nausea, Blurred vision and eye redness. This usually occurs, when the iris bulges forward to narrow or block the drainage angle formed by the cornea and iris.
